The characters of the performance based on the novel by Nobel laureate Elfriede Jelinek strive for a better life. Brigitte sews underwear in a factory in a big city, Paula comes from the village and dreams of becoming a dressmaker. But it is not job that can lead them to the cherished goal - their own cozy house. In their simple world, the choice is little: to get married or to lose and end up on the sidelines of life. It was the debut novel "Women as Lovers", published in 1975, that attracted public attention to the works of Elfriede Jelinek. Since then, the writer has published seven more books, became the winner of the Nobel Prize. One of her novels is “The Pianist” that was made into a film by director Michael Haneke, the film received the prize of the Cannes Film Festival.
