Before GITIS:
I was born in the outlying region beyond Moscow into a family of common Soviet engineers. When I was a child I loved school. Whenever possible I would attend any available extra or special classes. I went to a musical school and a theatre studio.

After 9th grade I entered the Moscow Humanitarian Lyceum in hopes that would help me get into a prestigious Institute and become a serious adult. But just a year later I found myself in the company of the television serial “Simple Truths,” where I played the role of Ksenia Lisityna. This was all very fun, very interesting and — on top of that — it paid real money. My choice was made: I would go to theatre school!

At GITIS:
After the lyceum I entered GITIS. My favorite role while there was Sonya in Chekhov's “Uncle Vanya,” and for it, in the autumn of 2005, I was named best actress in the Shchukin Institute festival of independent student performances. Aside from that, I performed scenes from Gogol's “Old-World Landowners” (Pulkheria Ivanovna), Volodin's “Five Evenings” (Katya), Chekhov's “Kashtanka” (Kashtanka), Shakespeare's “The Taming of the Shrew” (Katharina) and others.

After GITIS:
I dream of playing Queen Elizabeth of England, Antigone and Hedda Gabler.
