Marat Abrahimov



In 1992 Abdrakhimov graduated from School of Arts in Ufa where he majored solo singing and history and theory of music. In 1997 he finished the Department of Musical Theatre of the Russian Theatre Academy (the class of A. Titel and I. Yasulovich).

As of 1993 he has been appearing in musicals at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre, specifically in The Marriage of Figaro directors A. Titel and I. Yasulovich, 1995).

Abdrakhimov also performed in musicals Gospel (Moscow, 2001); Nord-Ost (director A. Ivashchenko and G. Vasiliev, Art Project production company); 12 Chairs (director T. Keosayan, Russian Musical Company, 2003); Cats (director K. Cartwright, “Stage Entertainment”, Moscow, 2005) Mamma Mia (director Andrew Weil, “Stage Entertainment”, Moscow, 2006); The Beauty and the Beast (director G. Kazan)

In 1998-2001 Abdrakhimov worked with “Bat” cabaret theatre where he appeared in Corps de Ballet1 (director L. Shapiro-Gurvich) and G. Gurvich's productions of The Great Illusion, 100 Years of Cabaret, This Showbiz.

At Theatre of Nations Abdrakhimov plays in V. Pankov's production of Romeo and Juliet.

Abdrakhimov also appeared in the film The Track (director Y. Harnas) and TV-series Cherkizone — the Disposable People (directors V. Danziger, A. Girba, D. Petrun, S. Mezentsev).
