Anatomia Lear is a piece of original work created by Anatomia Ensemble. The performance premiered at the Sanaton (Wordless) festival at the Ateneum Art Museum, Helsinki, September 25th, 2008. Since then, Anatomia Lear has performed at Hango Theatre Festival and Tampere International Theatre Festival. The ensemble was awarded the Antonia Prize 2009 for artistic bravery at the Hango Theatre Festival. Sound designer, Kristian Ekholm, received the Aani-Sade Prize 2009 at the Thalia Gala for creating Anatomia Lear's soundscape. Lighting designer Mari Agge was nominated for the same year's Valo-Sade Prize (lighting prize). Anatomia Lear will continue performing at festivals in Europe during 2010.
Anatomia Lear's ensemble are alumni of The International Theatre School Jacques Lecoq, Paris, The Theatre Academy, Helsinki, and The University of Art and Design, Helsinki.
