Gala Concert Timed for the End of Theatre of Nations' Building Renovation
The concert held at the renovated stage of Theatre of Nations featured Goran Bregovich's band, “Tower Quartet”, Chulpan Hamatova, Anastasia Vertinskaya, Uliana Lopatkina and some others.
In the video-address format the history of the Theatre was recounted by Robert Lepage, Oleg Tabakov, Yuri Lyubimov, John Malkovich, Jeremy Irons, Helen Mirren, Eimuntas Nyakroshus, Marina Vladi, Declan Donnellan and Robert Wilson.

THE SEASON
September 29 Small Stage of Mayakovsky Theatre will be the venue of premiere of Shosha — a stage version of Isaac Bashevis-Singer's like-named novel. Acting in the play are graduates of the Russian Theatre Academy(Professor Oleg Kudryashov's workshop) and Merited Artist of Russia Rosa Hailrullina.
